Crystall College ~

- - The College

Crystall College is a school for the gifted. The outside world believe them to be gifted in the arts or sciences but the true purpose of the school is to train those with extraordinary powers. Fire, Air, Earth, and Water are just the elements. There are others such as Speed and Strength, Telekinesis or Invisibility. Each person is unique and therefore so is each power. Most fall, in some way, shape or form into either attack or defense, physical, mental, or elemental. Each student is trained both in their own power and in the skills they will need for time travel and the time they are travelling to, such as horse-back riding and archery.

The aim of the school is to train the students through the years (each named after a planet) until they leave the school and become Stars. Stars are the graduates of the school that go on missions as an occupation and are paid by the government as if they were teachers at the college. Students move up in rank throughout the years if they show specific talents. Student, Prefect, and Elite. There are very few Prefects in the school and even fewer Elites with new responsibilities placed on them with each rise of status. Prefects are given the gift of Healing when they change rank, but some take to it better than others. The Elites are able to secure the power of Flyte- being able to disappear somewhere and instantly appear somewhere else. As you go up through the school some students are permitted to go on real missions with or without a teacher or group of companions and some are not. Homework is regular and hard and the lessons aren't easy but it's the best school in the world for those few gifted youngsters.

The Objective - -

The training that these few youngsters receive is important. Not just for the control of their powers that they receive over the years or the scientific importance of actually being able to travel back in time- a skill that only comes with those who have these "gifts". Because along with time-travel comes time-travellers, not all of whom are interested in the prospect solely for it's historical value. Instead, tyrants and dictator-wannabes use the technology of time travel to go back in time and change key events, creating a present and future that they alone are the masters of.

Very important changes to the world's history timeline have been able to be protected by Crystall. To affect these events enemies would be forced to arrive early and wait some hundred years before they're able to alter any result, therefore keeping these key events safe. The same can be said for Crystall College's personal history. Any recent history such as within the lifetimes of those working for Crystall is also under this blanket protection. However, this technology cannot be used for the whole of history. Changing very ancient history if more dangerous than most people are willing to risk as one small alteration that far back could set off far too many chains of events to be predicted. This means that events in the middle of recorded history are the most vulnerable. With places such as American only recently (in the historical sense of the word) being cultivated this means that many enemies of Crystall aim for european historical events.

The latest of these past-destroyers is a man named Demetrius Lavine. His control over all four elements- Fire, Water, Earth and Air, make him the strongest adversary the school has yet to face. So far the students at Crystall have managed to stump Lavine's attempt to change the present, but his own small victories are piling up into a larger plan Crystall is blind to. Can the new recruits to the school stop him from slowly changing the future?

When joining the site, there is a maximum of 5 characters per person. The first character you create must be a new recruit to the school, that way you can get an understanding for the site and setting before creating a character more used to the ways of the college. If you wish your character to be a Prefect or an Elite then please PM me. Be warned- I will be incredibly harsh in who achieves these positions as they are difficult positions to atain in the school. Your character can excell through the years faster than normal- this is especially common in students who start the school older than normal, because their powers laid dormant for longer. Once you leave the school after your education you can become a Healer, a Star, or leave altogether with your powers Cut (bound so that you can't use them). But that's in the future. This is the present. We deal with the past. Welcome to Crystall College.
